Well having successfully denied any evidence to the fact that I have contracted the cold that has been floating about the place of late (evidence including countless empty packs of
paracetomol tablets and a trail of eucylyptus tissues and vicks vapour drops wrappers...), mojo intact - I have managed to create regardless!

It's been a while since I have had an opportunity to put together an Off The Page project - but today was the day! Celebrating the release of these GORGEOUS Craft Essentials dressforms and Paper Flourishs' 20% off Miss Rose Sister Violet Blooms, Ive been busy fusing the two!

Hey Friends.

Just wanted to share one of my latest layouts titled "Playful". This design was inspired by some very good advice once given by MY "Design Idol" - Teresa Collins.  Having lost her own mother in tragic circumstances, she reminded us that whilst WE may not necessarily like how we look in photos, our kids will be ever grateful for the memories when we are gone.  I hope these images - wrinkles, multiple chins, odly shaped nose, and all - capture a snippet of who my kids Mum is, and eventually- was!

Hi There Friends.

My Name is Mandii van Brussel.  I have been a Professional Crafter for the better part of 10 years now.  I am currently a Designer for Paper Flourish in South Australia, and have been since it's inception in 2010.

My career has been a veritable checkerboard of qualifications from Hairdressing to Wholesaling, but I think the the one qualification that gave me the solid direction to get involved in the Papercraft industry was certainly Interior Design.

I don't remember a time when I wasn't "crafting" something. It's been an ongoing interest since my first box of Crayola Crayons and bottle of Clag Glue!

This blog is designed to share my projects and my passion - and if I'm lucky - inspire a little creativity in you too.
